
Dr. Brenda J. Wagner Ph.D., A.B.P.P. is a clinical psychologist and is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. Board Certification in psychology is similar to Board Certification in the field of medicine, indicating a standard of practice appreciably higher than that of state license. Dr. Wagner specializes in individual, couples and family therapy . Her office is centrally located in Roswell, Georgia to serve clients in Roswell, Woodstock, Alpharetta, Cumming, and Sandy Spring, Georgia.
With more than 30 years experience as a mental health provider and experience in outpatient, inpatient, residential, and substance abuse.centers, she offers qualified services with a broad spectrum of clients. After working for twelve years with children with serious medical conditions at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as a senior psychologist , Dr. Wagner is now committed to serving full-time in the community.. pediatric cancer, stress management, and parenting. She has written
several book chapters, including two chapters in an award-winning nursing
textbook. She is on the board for Hopequest, a treatment program for sexual
and substance addiction. She is a consultant for the counseling center at
First Baptist Church at Woodstock and works with the City of Refuge
treatment team.
Dr. Wagner was married for 40 years; she has two grown children and three
grandchildren.
Dr. Wagner is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
